How to assemble the MBM rear disc brake conversion kit on your Dodge 8 3/4 rear end. The instructions seemed a little vague. So I made this video.
MBM brakes is a company out of N. Carolina. They manufacture brake components for classic cars, street rods etc. A very reputable company and I think they offer great products at a great value. They don't caring a name like, Wilwood, Brembo or Baer. But the do supply good components for everyday street driven vehicles at a realistic price. Basically a good bang for the buck so to speak.
I resently had to install a rear disc brake conversion onto a clients car. He supplied the parts, and yes it was an MBM ConversionKit. This kit was for a B body mopar (Charger). Everything looked great but I have to admit I struggled a bit with the assembly.
I had no instructions, so of course I went online to find some. Great got em. Then back to the project. Still some head scratching. A little more web searching. Not much luck. I just wanted a picture of the components assembled. Just show me the end result. I have the parts. I'll figure it out.
Nope no good photos. no good videos. So I just muddled thru and figured it out. But it took longer than it should with the proper information. So I decided I would help the next guy. So I made this video and hope you enjoy it. And it save you time and fustration.
