Abdul Hameed Rajput is an eyewitness of 1947 partition/migration. He belonged to Morinda, well known as Baghanwala, a town in Rupnagar district of Indian Punjab. According to him, the population of Morinda was Hindu/Muslim Rajputs. The town was surrounded by gardens that's why it was called Baghanwala.
