Wushe Section of Cross-Island Island Highway （Hwy. No. 14A）is the highest highway in Asia.
It enters from Wushe and passes through Qingjing Farm, Meifeng, Cuifeng, Yuanfeng, Kunyang, Wuling to Dayuling.
The Mt. Hehuan Main Peak is a mountaineering trail.The views along the trail are stunning, with many of Taiwan’s Top 100 peaks in view the whole climb up.
Along the way, there are unique alpine landscapes such as alpine hemlock, white dead wood and arrow bamboo forest prairie.
The area has a highland climate that varies greatly between daytime to nighttime.
Temperature usually falls below 0℃ during the winter creating snow-fall from December to March. Special scenery includes the steep rock walls and significant valley.

自霧社進入，經清境農場、梅峰、翠峰、鳶峰、昆陽、武嶺至大禹嶺。
合歡山主峰為登山步道，沿途景色令人嘆為觀止，整個攀登過程中也可以看到許多台灣百岳的景色。
沿途盡是高山鐵杉、白枯木與箭竹林大草原等特有高山景觀。
這個地方屬於高原氣候，晝夜變化很大.
冬季氣溫通常低於0℃，造成12月至3月降雪。特殊的風景包括陡峭的岩壁和重要的山谷。
