Motel Hell Skid Row Homeless Encampments Los Angeles seems to me we will not be ready for the 2028 Olympics. The Highrise's being built will not house Drug addicts or Psychiatic Patients. Maybe half of the Homeless are from out of state so they would not qualify for Housing. The city's plan is to temporarily put the people in hotel Rooms and just hide the problem.
Skid Row in Los Angeles is a notorious area known for its severe homelessness and drug addiction issues. The neighborhood has become a hub for various drugs, including heroin, fentanyl, crack, and crystal meth. The situation is dire, with many residents struggling with addiction and mental health issues, making it challenging to break free from the cycle of homelessness.
Efforts are being made to address these problems, but the area remains a significant challenge for public health and social services. The community faces a complex web of issues that require comprehensive and compassionate solutions.
The Los Angeles Olympics, officially known as the 2028 Summer Olympics, will be held from July 14 to July 30, 2028. This will be the third time Los Angeles has hosted the Summer Olympics, having previously hosted in 1932 and 1984.
The city is preparing to welcome athletes and spectators from around the world, with events planned across more than 80 venues. Despite recent challenges, including devastating wildfires, the organizers remain confident that the Games will proceed as planned.
The 2028 Olympics aim to be a sustainable and innovative event, utilizing existing infrastructure and promoting environmental stewardship. The Games will feature a wide range of sports, including new additions like surfing, skateboarding, and sport climbing.
