What are you going to do differently this year to really delight your customer and make them choose your store?
In this video, I shared five innovative actions that have been very successful and can transform your campaign.
The first three are part of a trend that I love and that was talked about a lot at the NRF: "To Play" — that is, using play as a connection and sales strategy. This creates a fun and memorable experience for the customer!
Surprise Box: after the purchase, the customer has the right to open a box with a treat or bonus. This activates the effect of discovery, of surprise, and makes the gift even more special!
Gift Hunt: an interactive action, like a scavenger hunt! You can hide clues around the city or at the mall and release the spoilers in your stories. This generates engagement and moves the brand in a light-hearted way.
Scratch card with collab: nostalgic and super fun! Even better when you do it in partnership with another complementary brand — like a clothing store + coffee shop. It generates an exchange of audiences and strengthens both businesses.
Then, we have two more actions that reinforce the emotional side:
VIP Mom: an exclusive experience only for those who buy from your store — it could be a workshop, a coffee, a spa... something that creates an emotional connection and that will stay in the customer's memory.
Earring action: this was a hit with one of my clients! The person receives one of the earrings in an insert and has to go to the store to pick up the other. Then, of course, they get to know the store, have the experience... and often leave with a gift in their bag too!
These actions, combined with a well-decorated store, a window display with a Mother's Day vibe and caring service, make all the difference! 💖
