Bends, culture and culinary delights: how good that so many motorbike touring regions combine these so wonderfully. So my autumn tour to Alsace and through the Vosges mountains can tick three out of three boxes on my imaginary checklist. I'm exploring this region from north to south for the first time, covering around 700 kilometres, and I'm immediately smitten with this culturally unique region: charming old towns in the valleys and views stretching for miles from the peaks along the Route des Crêtes.
