Grayshadow Ruins (2023) is a wonderful album that immerses me in the history of the goblin.
The previously easy hike suddenly became unexpectedly difficult. After passing through the Connorian fields and a nameless forest, the young goblin, Hadruk, set off down the river on a homemade raft. Another dozen days and he will sail to the glorious human city of Bargedot, and from there the Boundary Mountains are just a stone's throw away. Spending the night in the rain and the difficult climb through mountain valleys only strengthened his spirit. Traveling further south past elven slavers, Gadruk finally arrived in Urs Gulass, which means Goblin Land in the language of the bearded lowlings. This is where it was, hidden under the thickness of the earth, protected by branching caves, were numerous remains - the house of Hadruk. And so he arrived, and behind him came the magician whom he led. They will finally pay for everything. Happy listening.
