Mountains, terraces and fires - Eastern Nebraska soybean harvest / October 4-7
The heat of summer continues to march on leaving super dry conditions!
So dry that we ended the day early on Saturday (Oct 5). There were fires to the north of us. And to the south of us. And Lee decided he didn’t want to be the next casualty. And I don’t blame him!
The “mountain” provides a bit of excitement while watching for new evidence of any new cave-ins while cutting bench terraces.
