MSFS - NDB/ADF/Bearing pointer navigation.

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Welcome back to @Alpha Hotel Flight Simulator Training. In this video, we look at how to navigate using NDBs, or Non Direction Beacons using An ADF (Automatic Direction Finder) and bearing pointers. These are older navaids that are being phased out in the real world - but there are still plenty left in MSFS that you can learn to navigate with. There are even still some NDB airways left in the world you can navigate on, so we'll talk about those as well. These skills are also useful for using bearing pointers on EFIS systems in more modern cockpits to navigate off of VORs. This video can be completed as part of the private pilot training series, but is also useful for pilots learning instrument flying.
