Mt. Agassiz was once called the "Banff of the Prairies". Located in Riding Mountain National Park in Manitoba, this unique ski hill served the community for over forty years before it closed due to a series of unfortunate circumstances. While Mt. Agassiz had a chance at reopening back in 2013, Parks Canada ultimately decided that it would be reclaimed into natural land. This video will tell the entire story of Mt. Agassiz - from it's early days to its closure
