In late July, we will be walking through the Japanese Alps from Kamikochi to Mount Yari.Part 12 is walking from Mizusawa to BozuIwa(Cave) via the Green Band.
The Green Band is so named because the moraine deposits flatten out and are covered with creeping pine trees.Once you get up here, Mount Yari will look big.The BozuIwa Cave is said to be the cave where the monk Banryu, who founded Mount Yari, stayed.In the days before there were mountain huts, this was a valuable place to stay.
7月下旬に日本アルプスの上高地から槍ヶ岳まで歩きます。その１２は水沢からグリーンバンドを経て坊主岩小屋まで歩きます。
グリーンバンドはモレーン堆積物が平坦になり這松が生い茂るのでこのように呼ばれています。ここまで上がると槍ヶ岳が大きく見えるようになります。坊主岩小屋は槍ヶ岳を開山した播隆上人が宿泊した窟と言われています。山小屋がない時代は貴重な宿泊地でした
