Pad work is an essential element of a fighter's training in the art of Muay Thai. It is one of the best tools in the art to elevate the levels of conditioning required to become the best one can be in this sport. But in order to achieve these aspects, we must first start with the basics of proper holding as well as commencing with the use of correct techniques thrown in a singular fashion before embarking on a quest of multiple and more advanced combinations and counter work.
In this video, we go through some of these basic techniques and how they are practiced on the Thai Pads, correctly.
