After Mugu village, it was time for us to head out for the highlands. Reaching Ghogpu (Purano Mugu) was pretty easy, we had a lot of time to spare. And it felt like a place that could heal your soul, beautiful and serene. The next day, we finally got to do a proper uphill hike, to our main destination Thulo Koiki. It is a huge valley that extends all the way upto Tibet and is breathtakingly beautiful. We met a lot of people from all over Mugu, and some from Jumla. They were here for the collection of Yarsagumba. We stayed here for three days. Thulo Koiki is just magical.

The total trip to Mugu and Thulo Koigi costs around 50k per person if you go by air. The cost comes down to 30k if you go by road.
Day 1 Kathmandu - Nepalgunj (by air or road) - Gurase, Dailekh (by road)
