Hey everyone!
Here’s my latest rambling 20-minute update on life post-multi-level ACDF (C4–C7). If you’re noticing I’m fidgety and repeating myself, that’s because I’m so tired, and also because the sudden drop in temperature and incoming rain are seriously ramping up my pain levels—I guess my body’s a pretty good weather instrument!
Despite everything, the surgeons all seem to be leaning toward holding off on another surgery unless my symptoms become unbearable.
Yes, Multiple levels did not fuse, and now new areas are causing pain, numbness, and weakness.
Their message: it’s “debilitating but not dangerous.” So, I’m powering through until surgery is truly necessary and trying to get back to saying “yes to living” with this new norm. (You get it.)
I created this channel to document the ups and downs of neck surgery complications at a relatively young age. If you find my journey helpful or relatable, please consider liking, subscribing, and sharing—it really helps more people discover the channel and join our supportive community.
I love hearing from you and a lot of people have been asking for live interactions instead of just Q&A in the comments—I’m totally up for that, so stay tuned for announcements on upcoming live sessions.
If you want to send some love and show your support (especially after my kitty’s recent surgery), here’s how:

Thank you for being here, and let’s make 2025 a better year for all of us!
Love,
Me and my now 1-Eyed Jedi
