Welcome to Skill-Lync's SolidWorks Training on Multibody Dynamics (MBD) using SolidWorks. This SolidWorks certification program is designed to help you master the key concepts of multibody dynamics and SolidWorks simulation through practical, hands-on projects. Whether you're a beginner or looking for advanced insights, this SolidWorks online course covers everything from motion studies to complex simulations.
The course starts with an introduction to motion studies in SolidWorks, focusing on the design and simulation of a Geneva mechanism. You’ll model and assemble the mechanism while performing a multibody dynamics simulation using SolidWorks tools. This gives you valuable experience in real-world mechanical design and SolidWorks simulation assembly.
Next, you’ll work with a machine vice to understand the role of screw mates in motion studies. You’ll trace the displacement of the movable jaw, reinforcing your skills in SolidWorks MBD assembly and simulation. We also explore the design and simulation of a planetary gear train, teaching you gear terminology and how to conduct motion studies for speed and torque analysis.
Additionally, you will dive into IC engine kinematics, including the piston assembly and valve train, focusing on material assignments and dynamic performance analysis. By the end of the course, you’ll have a strong foundation in multibody dynamics modeling using SolidWorks, with a certification to validate your skills.
