Multiplying Mixed Numbers

We will start with a brief review of the mixed numbers and the proper fractions. Then, we will solve 2 examples. To multiply mixed numbers, first, we convert them to improper fractions, then we multiply the improper fractions, and lastly, we convert the resulting improper fraction to a mixed number or a whole number. In the first example, before multiplying the improper fractions, we will need to simplify.
