The murder of 17 year old single mum Laura Wilson in October 2010 by her ex boyfriend Ashtiaq Ashgar in the Fareham area of Rotherham. Laura had been in a relationship with Ashgar but had a child to one of his friends Ishaq Hussein. Laura shamed Ashgar and brought dishonour to his family in his eyes when she went around to his house to tell his mother she wanted to be with Ashgar. She paid with her life. It was discovered that Laura was identified as being at risk of sexual exploitation by British born Pakistani men in that area An area known for the grooming of white girls. Laura left behind her four month old daughter who is now being raised by her mum and her sister as they try and deal with the horrific murder. Expert analysis from Forensic psychologist Dr Keri Nixon and psychologist Emma Kenny, gives us an insight into the mind of the killer Ashtiaq Ashgar.
