I thought it would be fun to try to grow a banana tree starting from seeds. I was able to get some seeds to sprout last summer, and by late this summer we actually had little pink bananas on our Musa Velutina Pink Banana tree. In this video, I will explain how I got the seeds to sprout, and how I took care of the banana tree in order to get it to produce bananas. I also have a Musa Basjoo Banana tree that was growing right next to the Musa Velutina banana.
