In this video I go over everything I carry with me on my Alaska to Argentina bike tour as well as my baggage setup and some of the reasoning behind my choices.
When I uploaded this video I had just completed the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR) after starting in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, so the gear I go over is what got me through North America. Next I am heading to Mexico and the Baja Divide, so I also go over some changes I made to be better prepared for the changing environment.

About the Ride:
My name is Alex van Gelder. I'm from Seattle and I'm just starting my first intercontinental bicycle tour. The goal is to ride from Deadhorse, Alaska to Ushuaia, Argentina in one go.
I also want to ride some bikepacking routes as part of my route including the Great Divide Route through the Rocky Mountains and the Peru and Ecuador Divides through the Andes.
