Ever Wondered What Treasures Lie Hidden Beneath The Soil? In this video you can see me find the Best Roman and Medieval Coins with the metal detector, since I started making Youtube Videos. Join me on my Treasure Hunts; Metal Detecting in the Countryside. The fields are now flourishing with crops and it is hard to find a good spot to go out with the Metal Detector. So, I had some free time and made this video! Whether you're a seasond Numismatist, a History Hunter, a History Enthusiast, or simply curious about the past, this video has something for everyone! Don't forget to Like and Subscribe! In this video you can see me find coins from all over Europe. For example: Medieval coins from England, the so called Penny's. These coins are mostly from the 13th Century King Henry III. I also found some very nice early Medieval Coins from Western Europe, the:"Anglo-Saxon Sceats". These sceats are from the late 7th or 8th Century and are classified with the following beautiful names: Porcupine Sceats, (Continental) Runic Sceats, Wodan Monster Sceats or Herstal Sceats. There are more types, but I haven't found any of those! I even found a gold coin from the 6th Century from France, a so called: "Pseudo Imperial tremmisis". This is a unique gold coin, with a lower gold percentage. I also found Roman coins that are 2000 years old from France and even Rome! Coins From the emperor Hadrian, Augustus, Antonius Pius, Faustina the Elder and more! A couple of Celtic coins were found including a gold quarter stater! That coin is from the Morini tribe and is over 2000 years old! Of course, I don't only find old coins. Sometimes I find newer coins from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, like silver quarters. Or coins from the Provincial Period from cities like Kampen for example, or from the Provinces like Overijssel. My name is Mark, I have been Metal Detecting in the Northern part of the Netherlands since I started about twelve years ago now. Four years ago I started making Youtube videos. I really hope you liked watching this video! And I hope to see you again next time! #romancoins #Medievalcoins #coincollecting #metaldetecting #treasurehunting #archaeology #history #numismatics
