I am rather anti cropping. If I am not close enough to get a decent image size I do not take the picture, but I need to change. I know that I can crop and still get good images, even with a MFT camera, I just need to start doing it. I spend a morning getting close to Corn buntings at Maiden Castle by Dorchester. A bird that I often ignore as they are so common abroad and I have many pictures of them. Tghe sky was blue and it was cold so no heat haze and the air seemed so clear which I felt helped give me the quality needed for such a large crop.
