So here it is, my charity head shave for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven and St Richard's Hospice.
I have incurable secondary breast cancer and have now started chemotherapy to try and get my liver tumours under control.
Going through chemotherapy 10 years ago for my primary breast cancer at 32 and losing my hair was bad enough, and I couldn't believe it was going to be happening again. So, I thought I'd take charge and try and do something positive with it.
I must thank my hairdresser Claire for giving up her time and shaving my head free of charge. Timmy for videoing and Suze and Jenn for taking photos, bringing dutch courage and helping make a crap situation bearable and fun.
If you'd like to support me and help to raise money for these two amazing charities very close to my heart, St Richard's Hospice, for the immense support they continue to provide for Tim and I, and, of course, the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven, I would be most grateful. Even if it's only a £1 for each charity, that would be totally fab (link below). Much love to all and thank you. xx
