Here is the correct pattern, I do crochet it right in the video, but I say one part wrong!! (6.25 minutes in) and in one part, yes I burped, it was one of those unexpected ones that pop out while you're talking, but I do use my manners :) Please scroll down for pattern.
My Easy Crochet Petite Baby Mary Jane Ballerina Slippers With Bows
(3 inch sole)
ch9
Rnd 1:
3hdc in the 3rd ch from the hook
hdc in the next 5
6hdc in the last
hdc in the next 5
2hdc in the last
sl st to join in the top of the 1st hdc
Rnd 2:
ch2 dc in the same space
2 dc in the next 2
dc in the next 5
2dc in the next 6
dc in the next 5
2dc in the next 3
sl st to join in the top of the 1st dc
Rnd 3:
ch2, hdc in the same space
hdc in the next 32
(yes, the last 2dc do go in the bottom of the ch2 in this round only)
sl st to join in the top of the 1st hdc
Rnd 4:
ch 2, hdc in the same space
hdc in the next 8
hdc2tog 8 times
hdc in the next 8
sl st to join in the top of the 1st hdc
Sew in loose ends to make life easier for the next part
Bow attachment
count 6 spaces back from the 5th hdc from the last round and mark the stitch. repeat for the opposite side.
With the shoe toes facing you, cast on with slip stitch on the right hand side, if you don't, the centre stitch of the bow will be upside down.
ch2, dc and sl st into the same space
dc, ch2 and sl st into the next space
ch4 and sl st into the opposite side where you have marked your 6th st.
ch2, dc and sl st into the same space
dc, ch2 and sl st into the next space
ch2, sc over the ch of 4 (not too tight)
ch2, sl st into the beginning on the opposite side
don't worry if the sc isn't in the middle, just slide it into the right place.
Sew in loose ends and repeat the pattern to make your 2nd Mary Jane to complete your pair.
Takes about 20 minutes to make one slipper.
Great little project for using left over bits of yarn :)
