In the realm of sushi omakase in San Francisco, Hashiri stands out as my personal favorite. Renowned for its authentic Edomae style from Tokyo, this establishment proudly held a Michelin star for three consecutive years, from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Hashiri is under the expert guidance of the new executive chef, Toshiaki Ono, who brings his experience from the esteemed restaurant Kiyota in Tokyo—a recipient of the Silver Tabelog Award.
