-︰🎧︰Matsuda & Toji both come from difficult backgrounds; (Their backstories are brutal so just a trigger warning ahead..TW!!) Toji’s mom has been relentlessly abused by his step father when he was little, When Toji turned 19 his step father had gotten drunk and taken all his anger out on Toji’s mother, him killing her in the process. Matsuda , He had an average childhood, besides the fact that he was a ‘monster’ and had been hunted from birth so he had to hide his form. When middle school came along, Matsuda was captured by scientists and used as a test subject and tortured for ‘the fun of it’.
-︰🎭︰Toji suffers from PTSD and severe depression, along with hallucinations of his mothers killer. He takes medication for the most part but he then abruptly stops. Toji has some bad habits, such as SH and alcoholism, abusing both whenever what he’s feeling becomes too much.(?)
-︰🦋︰Matsuda finds the closest house to run into after escaping the scientists facility, coincidentally, its Toji’s house. They don’t remember each other from childhood but , quickly click?
-︰🕯️︰Toji aching for physical affection quickly attaches to Matsuda (which is implied in the video). Matsuda shortly leaves Toji thinking he’d be safer, but what Matsuda didn’t realize is that he’d rather be endangering him with himself (toji’s self, not Matsuda..just wanted to clarify).
-︰🫀︰Toji gradually becomes more and more of a danger to himself without his medication; Matsuda begins to notice and soon , the next day , he sees something truly horrifying. Though not too late, Matsuda quickly helps Toji and asks Toji what happened, soon after Toji pours his heart out to Matsuda, the way he’s never felt able to with anyone else.
