Hi friends! Sue here from Garden Moxie. Welcome back to my Southeast Michigan garden in Zone 6a. 🍂 Join me for a "November Garden Walk and Talk" as we compare how the garden looks now to how it looked in the spring.

👉UPDATE: 2025 Book club sign up now closed.

In this video, I'll be chatting about:

🌳 Garden Renovation Plans: I'm rethinking some garden spaces due to increased shade from my growing trees. That means possibly saying goodbye to some beloved plants like the limelight hydrangeas. Discover why and what's next!

🌿 Native Woodland Border: Explore the beauty of my native plants like geraniums, heuchera, maidenhair fern, and Canadian anemones. Plus, learn about the challenges with meadowrue and our furry friends, the rabbits. 🐇

🌱 Gardening on a Budget: I'll share how I'm planning to renovate by growing plants from seed and focusing on low-maintenance shrubs like spirea that offer year-round interest.

🦋 Pollinator Garden Highlights: See what's still thriving, like the Penstemon 'Midnight Masquerade' and Carthusian pinks, and learn how I'm supporting pollinators by leaving leaves in the garden.

This winter, I thought it would be fun to have a Wintertime Garden Design Book Club, and I'd love for you to join me! 📚 We'll dive into five inspiring garden design books, including "In Your Garden" by Vita Sackville-West.

Want to be part of the transformation? Submit pictures of your own garden, and let's design our gardens together during these chilly months! We can apply the design lessons we learn in the book club to our own gardens. It's a perfect way for us Midwest gardeners (and anyone interested) to stay connected and creative.
