Joe Rotter @ Red's here - When I'm "suspension fishing" I personally fish yarn strike indicators 99% of the time. There are many advantages over plastic bobbers, but it seems like some anglers haven't had the same experience. Most fishers default to "bobber" style indicators which is too bad, because yarn offers MANY advantages, especially to wade fishers that are picking apart water in detail. Yarn spooks less fish, is more sensitive, and tracks better with light nymph rigs.
