I have been studying Spanish for about 5 - 6 years now and really love it. It hasn't been easy, has taken a LOT of work to get to this point and is a slow and steady process. I found that I need to be CONSISTENT and PERSISTENT and not compare myself with others. Every now and then I like to record myself speaking Spanish so I can document where I am in the learning process and see how far I have come from the previous video.
This is a video of me having a routine iTalki Spanish lesson, which at this part of my journey, is basically a "chat" or informal conversation with me asking questions a lot or discussing a video or something else I have seen, read or studied. Victor, my teacher, lives in Mexico City and my wife and I caught up with him last year when we took a 2 week vacation to this incredible city. Victor was gracious enough to take us around and show us the sights and sounds of CDMX.
Let me know if you are studying Spanish, for how long, and what you like about it. Also, what are your challenges!
Thanks for watching, and perhaps you can use this video to practice your listening comprehension. Let me know how much of our conversation you can understand!
