Dr. Anita Prasad, a transgender woman from Bangalore, has used her academic background, including a graduation and MBA, to champion diversity and inclusion. Her personal journey, marked by struggles with gender dysphoria and isolation due to a lack of support, underscores the societal gaps in acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community. Anita is a passionate advocate for educational reforms in India, emphasizing the need to address LGBTQ+ issues and ensure equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Dr. Anita Prasad, with a 28-year career in global IT and engineering, primarily in Germany, has secured eight patents, building a strong foundation for her advocacy work. Through the Anita Humanitarian Foundation, she champions humanity, peace, and inclusivity, particularly for the LGBTI+ community. Her dedication is further reflected in her six authored books and an upcoming autobiography. Despite personal challenges, she remains committed to creating a more inclusive world, contributing to the G100 Million initiative for diversity and inclusion in India.
