A few months ago I visited @earlymusicshop2344 in Yorkshire to choose my new tenor recorder. Since then I've been getting it played in and impatiently waiting to show you! (We all like a good nosey at each other's instrument collections, don't we..?!)
When I was trying to decide on a tenor, I watched a ton of YouTube videos to listen to and see as many different instruments as possible. Hopefully this video might be useful to someone else doing the same!
The recorder is a Mollenhauer Denner in boxwood, with comfort keys.
The music is 'Since First I Saw Thy Face'- published in 'Music of Sundrie Kindes' in 1607 by Thomas Ford. I played from a SATB arrangement (I didn't play the baseline and I altered the alto line a bit...) which is available for free on IMSLP, here:
