Weight gain, bad advice, confidence building, and knowing the woman I have become. Some days, the struggle is real, and I dive in. I confide my true feelings about my life at 70. I take you through my week of enjoying outdoor time with my grandchildren, shopping at thrift stores and a stop at Marshalls! And yes, Desi sings at the end!
My doctor told me older women can be so hard on themselves... angry for all the things they can no longer do or swallowed up at times with regret or anger towards situations or family members........and I thought long and hard about this. It was a good week.
I lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks and all I did was change my attitude towards my life. I no longer want to live in the shadow of a life I am not living...no no matter what my age. I have accepted more outings and have found peace in knowing I am never really alone.
