When you work at a venue you have a lot of different acts coming through all the time
They all have different needs; different inputs, different monitors, different effects and so on
It’s a pain to build up a showfile from scratch every time,
Especially so if you’re using a midas pro mixer.
So in this video I’m going to take you through my starting patch on the midas pro 2, and I’ll let you know how I usually mix a band.
This is my starting point for basically everything I mix on one of these mixers, and also what I give to touring techs if they’re using the house mixer
It gets me up and running in no time so I can focus on the soundcheck
