I had no idea what lay in store for me on this trip. Id never been to Sligo before but let me tell you now, what a way to get there! Even though it was grey and gloomy outside, I was pleasantly surprised by the scenery and the fantastic station architecture. Quite simply, the further west and north I went, the better it got!
Join me as I make my way to Dublin’s Connolly Station. I’ll show you what to expect, we’ll get on board our class 22000 and we’ll venture, slowly, into the unknown. We’ll past beautiful station buildings, loughs, peat bogs and rivers before finally arriving at Sligo’s MacDiarmada Station nearly three and a quarter hours later! I’ll show you everything there is to see on the train and of course i’ll tell you how much it all cost me.
This was a surprisingly good little trip and I hope you’ll agree, it was well worth the price!
Thanks as always guys for taking the time to watch my videos. I must apologise for my voice, I have chronic sinusitis at the moment but as always, the show must go on!
Cheers for now!
