Way up past Licola in the Vic High Country, I found this elevated camping spot for a few days.
The alpine air is crisp and clean when at these elevated areas in the Vic High Country.
Camp is now setup on lush alpine snow grass, beside a tranquil mountain stream it was an amazing spot to spend a few days.
Solo camping at high elevation is a great experience and with snow patches still on the ground from what fell a few days before I headed away on this very special camping trip.
Rolling my swag out on the snow grass beside a crystal clear mountain stream, made for a very relaxing time away on my own and camp cooking on the coals of the campfire.
I spent one of the days exploring the area and following the mountain stream as it winds it's way through the valley, i came across some stunning cascading sections of the river.
Solo camping is such an amazing time to be out on your own. The serenity is so peaceful while i relaxed to the sounds of the river and a crackling campfire.
Once again i have cooked some really nice meals on the coals of the campfire.
