Hi family! In this video, I walk you through my USMLE Step 1 study plan step by step. As I have said in many videos, the USMLE step exams are a set of standardized tests that a medical student has to take in order to become licensed to practice medicine in the United States.

USMLE Step 1 has long been the most important of the 3 exams, as a lot of emphasis is placed on the Step 1 score when applying for residency and the specialty of medicine that an individual would like to practice. Safe to say - IT IS AN IMPORTANT TEST.

Like any standardized exam, preparation is key. Major aspects of preparation include: selecting a test day, choosing which study resources will be used, and planning out a study plan and schedule. In this video, I walk you through each of those steps as I create my Step 1 study plan.

Sorry for the length of this video - I wanted to be super thorough! Don't slack on doing the work to create a good, detailed study plan. It will save you time and energy down the road!
