As we sail closer and closer to the equator, the electrical storms get worse and worse. We have sailed all the way to Papua New Guinea, when a lightning storm passes directly over the boat. We have already been struck by lightning twice, so a third in this remote location is my worst nightmare.
SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world. We found bulkhead damage on their catamaran in Panama, so have fixed her up, and are now sailing across the Pacific Ocean!!
