Myles Kennedy, the renowned vocalist and guitarist known for his work with Alter Bridge and Slash with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, will release his third solo studio album, The Art of Letting Go, on October 11th through Napalm Records.

Myles Kennedy is one of modern rock music's most formidable and captivating vocalists. As the frontman for Alter Bridge and Slash ft. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, he has firmly cemented his status as a true rock icon for the current generation of music fans. With his soaring, emotive vocal range and raw, passionate delivery, Myles's ability to simultaneously excel in two massively successful groups is a testament to his talents.

With critical acclaim for his previous two solo albums, Year of the Tiger and Ides of March, Myles has once again poured his boundless musical talents and creative energies into crafting a captivating new collection of songs that promises to enthrall listeners. The eleven tracks that comprise The Art of Letting Go, finds Myles creating a solid rock album with songs around driving riffs. Standout songs like the gritty, riff-driven "Mr. Downside," the emotive, contemplative "Say What You Will," and the atmospheric acoustic intro delivers a surprise hard rock punch with "Behind the Veil" seamlessly blend Myles' signature soulful vocal delivery with a penchant for hard-hitting rock songs.

It's always a pleasure to interview the immensely talented Myles, whether to discuss a new solo release or the latest album from Alter Bridge. For his latest solo release, The Art of Letting Go, Myles reveals that, unlike his previous two solo albums, this one does not have a unifying thematic thread. Instead, the focus was purely on crafting a collection of impactful, hard-hitting rock songs with a strong foundation of captivating riffs and melodies. He divulges that creating a solo album is an exercise to strengthen his editing skills to learn when a song is good, and fans may be shocked to discover who he bounces song ideas off.

Looking ahead to the upcoming tour dates across Europe and the US, Myles is toying with the idea of treating audiences to a possible Supertramp or perhaps an acoustic reimagining version of the song he wrote for fellow rock icon Sebastian Bach, "What Do I Got to Lose."
