Abu Jahl, one of the most staunch opponents of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Islam, met his end during the Battle of Badr in 624 CE. Known for his arrogance and enmity, he played a significant role in persecuting early Muslims in Mecca. He was killed in the battle by two young companions of the Prophet, Mu’adh ibn Amr and Mu’awwidh ibn Afra. Abu Jahl’s grave is located in the battlefield of Badr, marking the fall of a major figure in the history of early Islam. His death symbolizes the triumph of faith over oppression.
