The Nanheng Highway is one of the three crossing highways in Taiwan. It belongs to the provincial highway Taiwan 20. Generally, only the mountain section of the Taiwan 20 line is called the Nanheng Highway. Starting from Tainan City, passing through Jiaxian, Liugui, Taoyuan and other towns in Kaohsiung City, and ending in Guanshan Town, Taitung County, there are magnificent mountain views, rock walls and streams along the way! After being closed in 2009 by the heavy rain brought by "Typhoon Morakot", after 13 years of restoration, it was finally officially opened to traffic on 5/1 this year.
南橫公路是台灣的三條橫貫公路之一，屬於省道台20線，一般僅稱台20線的山區段為南橫公路。以台南市為起點，行經高雄市甲仙、六龜、桃源等鄉鎮，終點為台東縣關山鎮，沿途有著壯麗的山景、岩壁及溪流！從2009年受到「莫拉克颱風」帶來的豪雨重創而封閉之後，經過13年的修復，終於在今年5/1正式開放通車
