Nanna’s Travelling Ric Rac Collaboration | antique lace haul #slowstitching #thriftythursday

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

In this video I share my exciting plans for a slow stitching community collaboration project called Nanna’s Travelling Ric Rac. And then a thrift haul from the op shop of incredible antique and vintage laces and linens. #slowstitching #thriftythursday Nanna’s Travelling Ric Rac is all about celebrating our slow stitching community and collaboration. It’s part of me saying thank you to everyone who subscribes, comments and supports our community. It’s also a celebration of my much loved nanna and grandpa who were always so generous and sent so much love out into the world. What I’ll be doing is sending out small happy mail envelopes with some of nanna’s Ric Rac, a special collaboration label and some siecial supplies from my slow stitching stash. The first lot of happy mails will contain the beautiful vintage floral fabric I show in this video. In future videos I will share slow stitch project ideas for how you can use the fabric and Ric Rac. I’ve already used the floral fabric in my #Roxysjournalofstitchery still life vase and flowers project for vol 7. If you receive a happy mail you can choose to make one or more projects of your choice with the supplies. This can be anything you want. Once you’ve finished your project I’ll invite you to send me an email with what you’re happy to share with our slow stitching community. This can include your name, IG, YT, your country, a photo of what you’ve made, what slow stitching and our community means to you, a favourite quote and anything else you’d like to share. I’ll then compile all the contributions into a compilation or website or booklet (details TBC) and share that with our community. If you’re interested in taking part in my first happy mail mail out, please comment below this video with the word I share in this video. I will draw out names from commenters and leave a comment below your comment and ask you to email me to arrange your happy mail. At the end of this video I share a hsul of beautiful antique and vintage laces and linens from the op shop or thrift store or charity shop. Cheers, Christine Create and craft with Christine
