Video Description:
In this video, I take you behind the scenes of one of the UK’s biggest hill climbing events – the National Hill Climb Championship 2024 With 370 riders battling it out on the tough Dipton Mill Road climb, it was an intense day of racing, brutal gradients, and all-out efforts. I was rider #53, and this course demanded everything I had!
The climb may only be 1.2km, but with an average gradient of 9.8% and sections hitting a steep 13.4%, it’s a true test of strength, skill, and mental toughness. In this video, I’ll share my race experience, insights into the course, and footage from the day as riders from all over the country gave it their all.
If you enjoy the video, don’t forget to like, subscribe, and leave a comment with your thoughts or questions about the climb! Thanks for watching, and let’s relive the day together. 💪🚴♂️🔥
