Buu Nygren was sworn in on Tuesday, January 10th, as the next president of the Navajo Nation. Nygren, who turned 36 on Christmas, is the youngest president ever of the Navajo Nation.
Dr. Nygren, who has an MBA in construction management and a Ph.D, said he wants to move the tribal economy forward for the Navajo Nation. At the Inauguration ceremony, Nygren said he is ready to work together as a united nation. Nygren committed to make every decision he makes as president based on whether or not the basic needs of the Navajo Nation will be met.
Rickert will discuss the values of the Nygren-Montana administration and what lies ahead for the Navajo Nation.
