Louisiane was a four year old mare. She had been violently broken by someone who knew nothing better than punishments. She had been ridden a couple of times only, because the guy who broke her thought she was not manageable, too much frightened! No kidding?!?
We have worked a total of twelve hours over forty-nine days (I did not have all the time I wished for unfortunately) and Louisiane then became a school horse, in the arena and on the trails of the south of France.
All the footage has been shot in the Montarines ranch in Besse-sur-Issole, France.
The video shows different exercises that I used to correct some problems. For information, these different methods are a mix of Australian horsemanship and American horsemanship. The most important influence are the horsemen Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt and Buck Brannaman.
