***Wire armature lengths and directions clarification: The wires are 14 gauge aluminum wire. They are cut to 16 inches, 19 inches and 21 inches. The 19 inch wire is first. It makes the head, neck, and arms. The next wire is the 21 inch wire. You fold that in half and put it at the bottom of the neck to make shoulders. You then make the chest and body. The last wire is the 16 inch wire. You use that to make extra "legs" or a base or support for the armature. You also need 26 or 32 gauge wire for the fingers. Just one of those, you cut it in half.
