While Casey was at a doctor's appointment, I began my day with no issues. The morning was spent trimming palm trees and carefully moving logs closer to the fire pit. While working I discovered several interesting items that had been left on the property over time.
As the sun rose higher and the temperature increased, I started to feel tired from the physical labor. I decided to take a break, settling down in a comfortable spot to watch the fire crackle and burn. Soon after, Casey returned from his appointment and began to work on various tasks.
One neighboring family, with whom we have been having ongoing conflicts regarding clearing and burning on the property, decided to call the fire department to complain about the fire. When the fire department arrived, they assessed the situation and quickly determined that we were not violating any fire safety rules. They stated that we would not receive any fines and then spoke with the neighbors to address their concerns.
After the fire department left, we did not experience any further issues for the rest of the day. Casey was able to accomplish a lot, making significant progress on this project after the fire department cleared the situation.
