ネマ島の皆さん
念願の外洋の島、第一弾はネマ島です。
環礁でもなく、大海原にぽつんと浮かぶ小さな島。なんといっても海がめちゃくちゃ透明でした！泳いでみたかったのですが、先に泳いでいたマイクが「サメめっちゃおるで」って言っていて、サメ嫌いの私は怖気づいて泳げませんでした。目の前にこんなに綺麗な海があるのに…もう二度と来れないかもしれないのに…。悔しくてネマ島を離れる時にマジ泣きしました。今でもとても後悔しています。
さて、ネマ島ですが、動画内でも何度も言っていますがとにかくゴミの無い、しっかり整備された綺麗な島でした。とても小さい島なのに６つもの地区に分けられていて、それぞれの地区に酋長(しゅうちょう)がいます。彼らの統率力と、島民の意識が高いからこそこの美しさが維持できているのでしょう。学校でもきちんと授業が行われたり、全員がマスクを着用しているなど、ダントツで「きちんとした学校」でした。子供たちは皆学校に行っているため、在島している間に一人も子供を見かけなかったのがちょっと残念(笑)
ちなみに犬は映っていませんが、いました。でも数はとても少ないと思う。猫は見なかったけど多分いると思います。

People of Nema Island
The first island in the outer islands which I have longed for is Nema Island.
As I said many times in the video, Nema Island is a beautiful island that is well maintained and free of garbage. It is a very small island, but it is divided into 6 districts, and each district has its own chief. Their leadership and the high awareness of the islanders are probably the reason for the beauty of the island. The schools were by far the most "proper schools," with classes being conducted properly and everyone wearing masks. Since all the children were at school, I was a little disappointed that I did not see a single child while I was on the island. I wanted to play with the kids.
By the way, there were dogs, although they are not shown in the vodeo. But I think there were very few of them. I didn't see any cats, but I think there probably are.
And that's how our outer islands trip started. Next time, we will report on Piisemwar Island out of the three islands. Enjoy!
