Cane toads are a problem that the country has struggled with for decades, but now, some canny Queenslanders have come up with a plan of attack for home gardeners to lead the pushback!
Jerry meets with Nikki Thomsett, the Invasive Species Project officer for Queensland-based non-profit environmental charity Watergum.
A new trap and lure system has been developed and Nikki and her team are calling on home gardeners to get on board and push back these interlopers.
