‼️NOTE: I’ve had a couple of questions about a chemical smell when making this bread and did more research to understand why so I could communicate a better answer to my followers. To ensure it’s not an issue with the alkilinity of the mixture add a 2nd teaspoon of vinegar to ensure the proper chemical reaction. Also be careful not to over-measure the baking soda as it can have a strong flavor. If you still experience this it’s likely a contamination off your eggs or egg white powder. I hope this will be helpful in alleviating any issues you may have.‼️
