New Freight Customer Spotlight and Ballast Train Chase

*NEW YEAR, NEW CUSTOMER HIGHLIGHT - FREIGHT* We are pleased to announce that *Jack Rich, Inc.* has been added to our customer roster! By using rail to move oil tankers, it helps reduce costs for them and removes a volume of trucking needs. This helps to open up highway and local roads and is an eco-friendlier advancement. To build the infrastructure required for the change, RBMN is creating a dedicated siding at Jack Rich's facility in Port Carbon, PA. This video showcases the skills of the top brass of RBMN who deliver the two ballast cars, and which signify the finalization of creating the siding. For those new to railroading, a "siding" is a general term for an offshoot of rail from the main line which may serve multiple purposes depending on location. A siding can be added as a holding area for cars and locomotives, a brief detour to allow secondary traffic to pass, or as an area to drop off materials. The latter is the purpose of construction for Jack Rich. To capture the event, @JamieMakin turned this delivery into an impromptu chase and narrates movements and operational methods along the way.
