On January 30, 2023 the dive boat Constellation with Captain Harry and crew Nick, Howard and Joe left from Shark River, New Jersey to the shipwreck SS Delaware. The Delaware was a coal fired steam engine driven ship built in 1880 and sank in 1898 in a fire. Nick was the first diver to enter the water and was immediately greeted by a small pod of dolphins. While Joe and Nick were exploring the wreck on their first dive, a Humpback Whale swam around the boat, putting on a show for Harry and Howard. Divers encountered many abandoned lobster traps and ghost nets on there dives and several fish were freed. Since the Delaware is known as a digging wreck, divers usually come up with a few treasures. This day was no different. @joefiorentino4551
